The Way and Its Power is the debut album by the hard rock/electronica duo Anarchy Club, released on August 12, 2005.
The album is heavily influenced by many different musical genres such as alternative rock, heavy metal, hip hop and even Chinese classical beats.
The album mixes grooving metal riffs, hip hop grooves and Chinese classical and waltz beats, all with a decidedly heavy rock flavor throughout, which makes the album very unusual.
Out of the 15 tracks on the album, only 12 are songs, the 3 other being skits. "White Noise" is an intro to the album and consists of the changing of radio stations until it finally stops at the start of "Enemy Ace." "A Day at the Office" is a skit that depicts a robbery and features guest vocals from Jessica Lee, and "Skillz" is a skit about two guys playing a video game.
The album gained much attention after the release of the video game Guitar Hero which features the song "Behind the Mask" which became very popular because of the game and raised the popularity of the band.
All songs written by Keith Smith and Adam von Buhler.
